A guide to the undiscovered

Together, we’ll unravel the knots that bind you in patterns that aren’t working for you to arrive at new ways of engaging with yourself and the world

Let’s do this

I bring a fusion of personal and professional experience to my work, guiding your process from a perspective that is rooted in science and infused with heart. My approach is deeply informed by my experiences in navigating my nonlinear trajectory of self-exploration and growth—including overcoming a brain injury. I understand firsthand the challenges you might be facing and am here to walk the path with you, emboldening you to take ownership of your life.

I believe in developing authentic relationships with my clients—meeting you as a person first and a coach second. I am committed to coming to this work with genuine presence, unconditional positive regard, and humor. At the same time, my approach is rooted in pragmatism: I want you to experience real results that you can carry forward.

I’m invested in ongoing learning and self-cultivation in order to provide my clients with expert care. I’ve trained in myriad body-based therapies, including Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) and Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), and am on the North American training teams for the SE™ and TCTSY training programs. These modalities support resilience and regulation in the nervous system while growing self-connection and overall wellness.

Having been in private practice since 2009, my somatic work also draws upon my experiences as a Yoga Instructor (E-RYT500), Licensed Massage Therapist (Oregon #23738; Colorado #25691), and Outdoor Educator, as well as my work in animal behavior and training. Additionally, I have trained in Intentional Peer Support, a trauma-informed and relational approach, which differs from conventional talk therapy.

I’m enthusiastic about studying neurobiology, attachment theory, and trauma theory, and their intersection with somatic practices. Early in my career, I taught therapeutic bodywork for five years at McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, California, with a focus on injury rehabilitation, chronic pain relief, and trauma recovery. Working with complex conditions inspired me to deepen my knowledge of the nervous system to support my clients in their growth, restoration, and health.
